Atlantis at its core has the vision of broadening horizons through our various educational programs, fuelling innovative thinking, imagination, and learning. We continually cater to students with our innovative, exciting and informative programs covering the vast scope of Science, Engineering, Technology, Arts, and Mathematics, as well as History, Literature, and Adventure. Our NASA tours are one of the most exciting offerings from our bouquet of programs.
1. Full Responsibility of the NASA tours:
Right from the beginning of the tour to bringing them back home, we take complete responsibilities of our students. Parents and teachers back at school can simply relax and wait for the children to come back with a plethora of experiences and skills acquired, and with a heart full of memories. We provide complete assistance of the VISA and all the logistics and formalities are completely taken care of. While on a NASA tour with us, you just need to relax and take in all that the NASA tour has to offer.
2. Not just travel, our NASA tours are an educational experience:
NASA tours experiences can range from giving a visit to the NASA center to immersing oneself in the knowledge of Space Science. At Atlantis, we make sure that the NASA tours we undertake are truly immersive learning experiences. Students engage in projects and hands-on learning experiences. Our programs revolve around knowledge enrichment in a way that life skills, soft skills, and problem-solving skills are instilled in students. The skills of collaboration, innovation, and self-reliance form a strong educational foundation and go a long way in achieving holistic growth and development of the students.
3. Our NASA tour is enriched by experienced educators and program developers:
Atlantis was formally established in 2007 with the intent of promoting space education among students. Driven by a strong passion towards space education, the founder had taken a team to the International Space Settlement Design Competition (ISSDC) as the first team to participate from India. Soon after, Atlantis became the company to organize the competition in India. Backed by a team of engineers, educators, researchers and life skill coaches, all with a common passion for education, Atlantis carries a legacy of experience and passion, giving a supreme edge to our NASA tours.
4. Our associations with eminent personalities from the field of academics and Space Science:
Our students boast of experiencing several exciting sessions with luminaries like Ms. Sunita Williams. Ms. Williams formerly held the records for total spacewalks by a woman (seven) and most spacewalk time for a woman (50 hours, 40 minutes). Williams was assigned to the International Space Station as a member of Expedition 14 and Expedition 15. Dr. Jack Bacon, Mr. James Christensen and Ms. Heather Paul from NASA are the other luminaries that our students interact within different sessions and discussions. Ms. Anita Gale with an exquisite experience with Boeing has been our constant motivator and inspiration for ARSSDC.
