SPACETREK
SpaceTrek is an advanced STEAM program at NASA’s Kennedy space center. The programs shine at preceding inventive technologies and content for teaching science, mathematics, engineering and technology with a space exploration background.
Some programs are currently offering by SpaceTrek
- MISSION ROBOTICS
In this program, Students will know about o Robotics and grasp the basics of programming a Robotic rover.
You come to know about NASA’s robotic exploration of MARS.
Basically, Students work in teams/units to program a Robot designed and built by the SpaceTrek team and printed on 3D printers indigenously
- ROCKETRY
This Program is occupied/based on learning elementary rocket systems, the basics behind rocketry and simple physics that moves them.
It also gives an introduction to the history and the future of rockets as we know them at NASA.
CURRICULUM COMPONENTS:
- Rocket construction and design blueprint
- Using testimony in a rocket launch
- NASA’s rocket history
- IMAX SPACE MOVIES
- Chow time with an Astronaut
- NEAR SPACE INVESTIGATION
One of the most exciting activity in which the group participates as one large team to successfully launch and retrieve a weather balloon, with a Payload that travels upto 100,000 feet.
Students as a result learn Meteorology, Telemetry and how NASA takes different variables into account to perform similar missions.
