Home Outreach Anubhava

With a vision to promote experience based science education, ANUBHAVA is an event that brings renowned NASA Engineer-Heather Paul together with the Atlantis’ specialist science outreach team to students in schools across Delhi-NCR. 

We are earnestly working towards popularising science and creating an enthusiastic and motivated student population, and have collaborated with the National Science Centre, Delhi for this event. Since 2016, more than 2000 students have participated in Anubhava.

The event takes place every year in the first week of February over 2 or 3 days at the National Science Center, New Delhi.

Featured activities at the event:

Interaction with NASA Engineer Dr Heather Paul

Students have the opportunity to learn about amazing developments in science, technology and engineering that underpins the aerospace industry and the efforts of NASA to manage both human and robotic missions to space. This conversation illustrates career opportunities in the Sciences and Engineering.

Science Show & Interactive Presentation

This segment will provide a light hearted and thrilling insight into some of the fundamentals of physics and the sciences. This will consist of a series of amazing demonstrations and interactive that will be conducted with assistance from the audience.

Knowledge Treasure Hunt

This segment will encourage student groups to visit the science centre exhibits in search for special objectives and topics that are of interest to them. It will be possible for student groups to select a topic of interest to them and then head out into the galleries of the science centre to research and record the information they seek.

Generic Schedule:

08:30 – Reporting at the registration counter. Student group move to their respective waiting areas.

09:15  – Greeting and briefing with quick ice breaker.

09:30  – First program segment begins.

10:20  – Changeover to second program segment.

10:30  – Second program segment begins

11:20  – Changeover to third program segment.

11:40  – Third program segment begins

12:30  – End program and students dispersal to respective buses.
