The Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida is the launch site for every human space flight since 1968. It is also the launch pad for many satellites and probes. At KSC, our program encourages students to learn about the various aspects of space exploration and work on satellites. Our chief focus is on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programs. This approach promotes learning through fun. Our holistic Space Trek modules, divided into Robotics, Rocketry and Near Space Investigation, leave young participants enriched and enthralled.
SpaceTrek @ Kennedy Space Center
SpaceTrek is an advanced STEM program at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. The program excels at introducing innovative technologies and content for teaching science, mathematics, engineering and technology with a space exploration background.
SpaceTrek currently offers three distinct programs:
- Mission Robotics – 3 & 5 day camps
- Rocketry – 3 day camp
- Near Space Investigation – 4 day camp
SpaceTrek modules are designed as advance STEM programs on the background of space exploration with basic science and mathematics as tools and exciting engineering as tasks. Some salient features of our programs are:
- Design and construction
- Arduino & NI LabVIEW based programming
- Space exploration
- Indigenous hardware and software development
- Consistent Innovation with Hands-on activities
- Simulation based learning
